When was the last time you sat down to examine your motives and goals in life? How long has it been since you took inventory on your purpose for life? Have you ever taken the time to uncover your purpose for life?
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
In order to find your purpose, it helps to understand that you were created with intention by the loving God of the universe- that you were not a mistake- that you were made in his image- and you are perfect as you are! For everything God has created, he did so in love, with intention and purpose.
Second, we must return that love back to our Heavenly Father so that we might tap into and understand His purpose for our creation. The key is love.
We were created in love, for love, to be loved, to give love, to share love and live from love- which is at the center of our purpose for life! If you were an airplane builder and you built and designed planes out of love, you would create the most elegant, efficient, safe and functional plane you could because of your love for planes. If on the other hand you built planes solely to make money, your product could be less than exceptional, good enough to pass tests, not quite as safe as it could be, all because of the missing ingredient of love.
Where is the love in your life? Think about it, pray about it, meditate on it. Find the love of Christ in your heart and put it to work in you life.
